How Much Does Smoking Cigarettes Changes Who You Are And Who You Could Be by Aydan Corkern

Are you fast approaching or already arrived at middle age? Maybe you are still in your thirties or early forties and can not figure out exactly what has happened to your stamina. Maybe you used to be a very active person and in recent years you have discovered that you have lost the desire to get out and do some of the things that you used to do or could it be that you just do not have the energy to do them? Could the real reason that this is happening to you be because you smoke cigarettes? That could be the very reason that you are gaining weight and have a much less active and less enthusiastic life than you had before.
You would be amazed at the differences in your physical abilities after only ten years of smoking. It is difficult to run any distance at all. Exercise is definitely no fun. When you can not breathe well enough to do any sufficient exercise, that can take the desire to lose weight right out of you. Maybe your waist line does not look as bad as you thought. Maybe those few extra pounds are not that important after all. This is not because these things are really true, it is just that you probably believe that accepting these things can be easier than trying to quit smoking.

The health issues associated with smoking cigarettes are the most important by far, but they are also by far from the only issues that smoking causes you to have to deal with. You might have lost friends or failed to make some new friends because you smoke cigarettes. Many people that do not smoke can not stand to be around someone else that does smoke. Even ex-smokers might not want to be around you because once a person has really stopped smoking, they never want to go back or be around the temptation.

You can have other physical issues caused by smoking like yellowed or brown teeth caused by the tar. You can be missing out of the full flavor of foods and drinks because your taste buds are affected by smoking too.You skin will age faster making you look older sooner. Then there is the smell have you have lingering on your person and your clothing each time that you smoke. Your home and the belongings inside it can be smelly and stained as well as your car. Your teeth can be cleaned as well as your home and car, but the same can not be said for your lungs and the other damages done to your body. Some damages will be permanent, but the sooner you stop smoking, the sooner your body can begin to try and heal itself.
